{"id":341587,"date":"2015-12-07T06:43:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-07T05:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kit-aero.com\/\/new-industrial-skills-in-kit-aero\/"},"modified":"2024-02-18T07:04:37","modified_gmt":"2024-02-18T06:04:37","slug":"new-industrial-skills-in-kit-aero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kit-aero.com\/en\/new-industrial-skills-in-kit-aero\/","title":{"rendered":"New Industrial Skills in Kit-Aero"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Since August 31st, Philippe TOURNEUX is the new VP Operations in Kit-Aero. <\/strong><strong>He shares his experience with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cI joined the French Navy in 1977 to be trained in the <strong>school of apprentices mechanics<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>After obtaining the <strong>Elementary Diploma<\/strong> I was transferred to Lanv\u00e9oc Base, to the Flotilla 34F (Alouette III \/ Lynx). <strong>Flotilla of helicopters<\/strong> which are on board with a mission of Rescue and anti-submarine combat.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Then I spent my <strong>Technical Knowledge Diploma<\/strong>. Transferred to the <strong>base of Nimes<\/strong> to the 56S squadron, I worked for 4 years on the DC3-C47. It was a really great period! The DC3-C47 is really a plane dedicated for the pleasure of mechanics ! <\/em><em>Several times I had the opportunity to go elsewhere to perform various missions : like in Dakar , Chad , Azores , Scotland, Guyana, Martinique , Madeira ..<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em> <\/em><em>In 1993 I joined <strong>AOM, an airline whose the maintenance center<\/strong> was located in Nimes. I became responsible of 7 mechanics. I learned to manage, to give my skills to deal with different persnnalities and to maintain team cohesion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em> <\/em><em>After this experience, I worked as <strong>technical manager of worksite<\/strong> (RTC ) which consists to manage the entire check of the aircraft before flight. In the end, I was responsible for signing off the aircraft&#8217;s return to flight (APRS). <\/em><em>It was a lot of pressure !<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em> <\/em><em>In 2007, I became manager of tooling and Ground Support Euquipment store at <strong>Sabena Technics<\/strong><\/em><strong> <em>N\u00eemes<\/em><em>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sabenatechnics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(Sabena Technics Website)<\/a> <\/em><\/strong><em>I managed inventory, maintenance and supply <\/em><em>for Sabena Technics Store and some partners.<\/em> <em>My work was really nice, every day brought new challenges. <\/em><em>I liked to improve working conditions for mechanics with new state of the art equipment and<\/em><em> provide solutions adapted to their needs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em> <\/em><em>Over time, I was looking for new challenges. So I decided to join <strong>Kit-Aero<\/strong>.I am working in Kit-Aero since the 31st of August. I think this young company had a promising future. Now I have ten years to make it growing and gain make it famous in the world! I also appreciate relationship offered in this company : mutual respect for each other.
